HIGH SCHOOL!

Hello, my old class! Just in case anyone is still reading this Blog, I thought I should write a new post and ask, "How is BIG SCHOOL?"

Hope you are happy and settled and enjoying being there. Take care, have fun and learn lots!

Hello Mrs Bell!
I can't believe how fast time flies!

Well first of all, Secondary school is brilliant... except for all of the homework that we get! Me, Suman and Emilia still hang around with each other and we're best friends! Although Charlotte and Emily Roberts don't go to de Ferrers. Charlotte goes to Abbot Beyne, however she doesn't live far away from me so we still see eachother from time to time. Emily Roberts has moved to Stoke and I really miss her! We still keep in touch though.

We have all made new friends at de Ferrers! They're really nice and fun. I like the fact that in science we get to do practicals and learn about things deeper into the subject. When we work with chemicals and other practicals everyone gets really excited, depending on what we're doing, like the time that we made fossils! I love the other lessons too, but in P.E we had to do cross-country and it REALLY tiring! I don't want to do it again, but unfortunately we have to do until year 11 because P.E is compulsory!

Hows are you? What's going on in Victoria School?

Thanks for the last comment,Maham. It seems that you have taken to high school like a duck to water - keep enjoying the challenges.
I am pleased to hear you still keep in touch with Emily. When I went to college aged 18 I made two amazing friends. We now go on holidays together!

I shall be working at Richard Wakefield from June 6th. The head is expecting a baby and I am covering her job, so my new title will be acting headteacher. I am getting excited, but must get my class through their SATs first.

Take care, Maham.

Hi Mrs Bell!
Sorry this is really late! I hope working at Richard Wakefield was a good experience :)

I'm halfway through year 8 now, time's going so fast! I might be starting my GCSE's in year 9 but i'm not sure. I'm in class 8P1, one of the top groups and Suman is in the same class as me! We've made some new bestfriends, Georgina Mortlock and Rebecca Barber, you might remember them from wsps.

Which year group are you teaching now? I hope they're all well-behaved for you! That's really nice to hear, that you still meet your friend's from when you were 18. I hope the same can be said for me, I don't like loosing touch with people.

I hope you are well and I'll try to come on the Blog more often!

Hey how well you write Maham, a really mature style. Your parents must be very proud of you. Say hello to everyone for me. I am the headteacher at Richard Wakefield, and I am very proud about that. Hope to see you sometime - I do get to visit De'Ferrers as part of my new job!
