Hello!

Hi, a quick message from Mrs Bell. Hope the children at William Shrewsbury are happy and looking forward to their half term holiday. I am busy keeping a Blog for my Year 6 class - they enjoy commenting on it and reading what I write.

Like us, I expect you have found that the first half term has flown by! have a good time over half term, and rest up!

hello, Emily and maham and thanks again for writing on this Blog and keeping it 'alive'. It's wonderful to think we have kept in touch for so long, Maham. I sent Mrs Poynton a card when I heard her good news. I believe the bay is beautiful. Emily, your great grandad has had a sad year, but Harvey the new dog will bring him lots of fun and joy. It's good that he had such a caring great grandaughter in you.
Mrs hunter was looking a little better when I saw her on Monday. She will be back at work after half term.
Enjoy the rest of the week, both of you.
Love from Mrs Bell

P.S - Emily you do say some lovely things - my class are becoming fun to teach.

Hi mrs bell!

Mrs hunter came into merit assembly yesterday. She looked like she was getting better!

Our whole class saw a couple of pics of imogone- Bess. She was adorable everyone cried " awwwww." we all made a card mrs poynton and mr poynton! We got lots of cute pics off the internet and stuck them down on the front of the card......

In big write we wrote autobioghraphies of ourselves. We bought in lots of pics to stick in them! Next week we are doing bioghraphies on someone that we could choose from Five people. They were Michael Jackson, roald dahl, queen Victoria, Alexander bell and neil Armstrong. I'm doing roald dahl because o know alot about him!

Hi, Maham, hope you are enjoying your unit on Biographies - my class had a good time with it. We did some Power Point presentations too. Next week we will start 'Street Child' - do you do that?
Imogone-Bess seems to have made an impact on your class! I saw Mrs Hunter on Tuesday and she was looking tired. Hopefully she will get some rest this weekend.
Have fun, Maham.

Hello Mrs Bell,

Yes, we read street child recently. I think it ended too quickly; jim should have found his sisters, or it at least should have mentioned his sisters at the end!

Mr Hunter isn't on crutches anymore. Although she is not wearing high heeled shoes either! :) She has gotten alot better.

Take care Mrs Bell! :)

Hi, Maham, nice to hear from you again. Hope the term is going well and you are working hard. It's a busy term with SATs FOR YOU - KEEP DOING YOUR BEST. I know you have good support from home as well as school.
My school went to see George's Marvellous Medicine today in Birmingham - it was fantastic!
Take care, Maham.

It is half term now and i havent been anywhere yet, but i might see the Princess and the frog at the cinema!

I am confident for the SATs, but i know i cant be over confident! You're right, i do have alot of support at home and school! Mrs Brampton is a wonderful english teacher, and a normal teacher! Mrs Tuckwell is a Supportive and Hard working maths teacher.

Talk to you soon, and take care!

Hi, Maham, hope you managed to get to the cinema at half term. After a lot of sleep (we had OFSTED just before half term) I managed to see friends and had a lovely day in Exeter with my son and husband.
Hope you have a good start this second half of the term.

Thank you Mrs Bell, i heard that you went to Pendrall Hall this year. Was it fun? The year 3's from WSPS and VPS did a presentation in Merit assembly, and Mrs Hunter said that you went there too! Wow... It has been 3 years since we went to Pendrall Hall. Weren't we the 1st people from our school ever to go?

I hope you and your family had a great time in Exeter!

Hello, there Maham, and thank you for your last comment. Pendrell Hall was a brilliant experience and yes, the first residential family learning was with your class. It does seem a long time ago, but the memories are fresh for us all.
Hope you are having a restful time in between doing some revision for your SATs.
Take care, and please say hello to your mum for me. Let her know Mrs Turner has a new baby daughter.
