Message from Mrs Bell

Hello to all those people who have been reading this Blog since I left. I am enjoying 'chatting' to Maham and Emily and pleased to read their news. It's a great way of keeping in touch. Yesterday I started a Blog for my current class of Y6 children. Feel free to view that via my profile on this Blog.

Emily, I am sorry to hear your sad news - death is part of life, but it's always sad when some-one close to you passes away. Remember they leave behind wonderful memories and it is important to talk about those and enjoy them.

Good luck with any assessments you may be having soon. They are part of life preparation and if you feel nervous, it means you care. Nerves can often make you perform better; it's crucial to learn to deal with them as in the future you will take driving tests, jobs interviews, etc. That's when practising to deal with nerves now will pay off!

Good luck, all!

Wow, very nice new Block, Mrs Bell!
I like what you have put for Emily! I think it's very nice and helpful.

We had our last SAT today and it was the longer write. We watched Bedtime stories in school today! I thought it was brilliant. After that we watched a bit of High School Musical 3 until hometime.

I'm excitied for Mrs Poynton, her husband and the new baby! She showed some of us the ultrasound of the baby! It was healthy!

Take Care!!! :)

Hello, Maham, I am glad you like the extra bit I have added. I can't think why I haven't done it sooner!
Bedtime stories sounds fun. My class also had a film on the last day, and a girl's mother made popcorn for all the children (in bags) and a bowl for the staff. I took in coke so it was like a proper cinema! Mind you, the class had done their y6 SATs so they deserved the extra treat.
I am sure you did well with your writing. You have such a wonderful style; you always grab the reader.

Yes, good news about Mrs Poynton - keep me informed, please.
Have a great half term, Maham.

Hi, Maham, glad your half term was good. We have come back to school to a very busy time. The Y6 get chance to go and visit their High School - tomorrow everyone but one child will be out. I am taking two myself so I shall not be putting my feet up!
Have a good week. I take the class to OEC on 15th June - wish me luck!

Hello Mrs Bell, Next year in y.6 we will be going to see our new high schools. I can't believe that next we're going to be in year 6!

I'm going to France in 2 DAYS!!! we're going to a place called Limonge. Only ten people in the year group are going. The people who are going are: Me, Charlotte, Natasha, Leah, Emily Ball, Wil, Luke, Daniel Styne, Liam and Conner.

I'm really, really excited and i'm going to miss all my friends that aren't going!

Bye for now and take care! :) =)

Sorry Maham, I never actually made it to the Wizard of Oz - I was so busy at my own school. The new job has now really taken over. I do still see my friends, but am struggling to find time to keep in touch as well as I used to do.
Have a lovely summer, Maham. bet baby is getting bigger and moving around lots!

Hi, Emily sorry to hear about the dog. It's always sad when a pet dies and feeling sad is part of life. it prepares you for other deaths in the future, because death is also part of life.
Hope you have settled into your new class and feel happy with the set up. Don't think we are doing the 'Stretton Social' but hope you have fun. I will try to pop into your school sometime to see you although it's hard as I am teaching. Once again I have Y6.
I saw Mrs Hunter on Friday - I do keep in touch with school in some way.

Hello, Maham, hope you are having a good time with Mrs Brampton. I don't know her at all. Mrs Hunter is working from home though her foot is plastered and she has to keep it up. I went to see her on Monday - she does NOT like keeping still!
Hope baby Moosa has a good birthday. Emily, hope you are well too.
Take care,both of you.
