Multicultural Week

The week was spent on learning more about India by concentrating 4 full days on the topic. The year group already learn about Chembakolli, a village in South India in geography in the summer term.

During the week, we tasted foods, learned some Gujerati, did a dance and some drama as well as some literacy based on a book called 'Footprints in the Forest'. Mrs Bell spoke to all the Year 3 about her trip to India, using music and a home-made video to show different parts of India. She had some table cloths with block printing too. We used that to create our own block prints in 3B.
The whole year group then did some printing from them. The results were amazing. Everyone will have some to keep from the
multicultural week at school.

My son is in year 3 (in Mrs Love's class) and he really enjoyed tasting Indian Food. We took him to an Indian Restaurant on the Friday night because he wanted to try some more! It's nice trying new things isn't it? Mrs Wood, Parent Governor.

He stared and stared, then silently leaned in and delivered a kiss to the sloppy core. John seemed determined to see this thing through to full intercourse, andAlice could see no way to prevent that from happening.
